First and foremost, Christians (believers and followers of Christ Jesus) do not call 'Father' for Pastors/Reverends, only the Roman Catholics.
Secondly, the word Allah was used by the Arabs for their Pagan gods long before Islam came into being. Thirdly, maybe you should do a little research on how Islam came about, who created it to deceive who. Finally, whatever our beliefs it may be, we are put into this world for a race till the end. A race not who first, but who best in service to our God - the one and only mighty God.

Is Allah The God of Abraham? If all Muslims scholars in the world accept others to use the word "Allah", and not even all Muslims in Malaysia stop non Muslims using "Allah", do u, Malaysia Muslims,are we not belittle other countries Muslims on this matter?
Who dare to deny The God of Abraham is The Allah that The Jews, Muslims and Christians worship to?
Long before The Koran the word Allah is used by many religions. Muslims are people of Allah, Allah will give them the wisdom and protect them from all the confusions created by the word Allah. May Allah bless us all.

If Muslims in other parts of the world can live happily with other faiths using the word "Allah", which we must always remember predates Islam, Muslims in Malaysia ( or rather, the so-called experts in Islam in this fair country ) have shown themselves to be an extraordinary breed quite apart from their brethrens elsewhere. Can someone simply take a word which has been in common usage all along and then claim that nobody else can use it now that they have decided to use it themselves? What and who gives them the right to do so?

Those who insist that the word "Allah" can only be used by Muslims should perhaps apply to the relevant international court of justice and ask for a ruling that "Allah" can only be used by Muslims throughout the world and that nobody else has the right to do so, either in Malaysia or Timbuktu. This ought to settle the issue once and for all, not only in Malaysia, but globally. This will avoid confusing the hapless Malaysian Muslim who needs to travel to the Middle East, Indonesia, Africa or elsewhere, for business, holiday or study.

No doubt Malaysia's numerous Islamic scholars, with their in-depth knowledge of Islam and world history, will be able to put forth convincing arguments in such an international court to support their case, and win hands down!

Bravo, Malaysia! Muslims throughout the world will forever be grateful and indebted to you!

The 'Word' Allah is a Muslim and Malay thing and with much circumstances in peninsular Malaysia, and no business to the non Muslims.

Why Lim Guan Eng being non Muslim and non Malay suddenly wants to be inebriated and bothered by the using the 'Word' Allah and make special acts about it?

Why Lim Guan Eng wants to cause the using of the 'Word' 'Allah that would be different in the Malay language Bible for Christian in this country? Christians in Malaysia can do without sleepless night for not using the 'word' Allah. By the grace of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost, the Christians have been saved from their sin by Jesus Christ the Lord, and the Christians have been remaining as Christian, and indeed as they are. More than that, they can still be in production for new born Christians.

In a simple word, the dominant of Malaysian Christian congregations make no fuss about it. This is because they know what it means being a Christian. They have embedded their faith and personally know who was Jesus Christ and who is He really is. So why Lim Guan Eng is so fuss about (What the fuss, nothing happening) using the 'Word' Allah and urging the Federal government to allow Christians to use it.

As reported, "pious platitudes......hearing on these occasions." Catholic Bishop Dr. Pual Tan Ing, uttering at the Prime Minister not only aiming at the good office of the Prime Minister but he, Najib Abdul Razak is 'pious platitude.'

In a way, the Catholic Bishop was telling Najib  that Najib bin Abdul Razak bears the soul in characterizing hypocritical by virtue of his religious devotion which is Islam.

Does his Holiness Catholic Bishop Dr Paul Tan in his prayers is thinking this situation? "If God thinks this state of war in the universe a price worth paying for free will then we may take that it is worth paying."

What happen to the holy Bible when it says about LOVE? In series of verses: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

What it says, the 'Word' is Jesus Christ and Jesus is God and Jesus already existed before the formation of the universe. Here, the Christians have it to themselves, Christ is not only the Son of God but He is God. He is also God in sprite of the Holy Ghost and God the Farther Himself. The Christian has it all ! Three in One, The Godheads which is the Christian doctrine. Why Lim Guan Eng bothers about 'Allah'? Allah to the Muslim is One, the only One.

Why the Muslim in peninsular Malaysia is thought to be so apprehensive about using the word Allah in the Malay language Bible? The issue of Allah is not about grabbing to use the name. It is the issue of philosophy. It is about ' Akidah' or Faith in Muslim's belief and submission. Allah is synonymous to One, only One. The mother tongue of the Malay is the Malay language. The Malay might be mistaken by the concept of Allah is One if it refers when happen to read the word of 'Allah' (Jesus Christ is God in the Godheads) used in the Malay language Bible. As the TRINITY in Christianity and Allah is One in Islam, both are DOCTRINES of the believers to their religions.

Just imagine when the 'Word' Allah is used in these forms.

"In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) , and the Word(Jesus) was with ALLAH, and the Word (Jesus) was ALLAH." New Living Translation (©2007) Qualifies that Jesus is Allah.

"In the beginning the Word (Jesus) already existed. The Word (Jesus) was with ALLAH , and the Word (Jesus) was ALLAH." English Standard Version (©2001) Also qualifies Jesus is Allah.

John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus (Allah)answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" Jesus exist before Abraham, Jesus is Allah.

Colossians 1:15 He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible ALLAH, the firstborn over all creation.

Don't Christians understand that it is illegal and devious to change someones name, and even more so your God's name.???
Doing that could land them in hell if their God Yaweh disagree with the name change.!!!

Christians have changed Yaweh's name to Father, And then they made Jesus the son of the Father./God.!!! Not only that, by calling their Priest Father,they thus made their Priests a God too.!!!

This is what Christian deception is about. They must have learned this deception trick from Hitler's Propoganda Minister,Joeseph Geobbles, who said,"A lie repeated many times, becomes a truth."

Refer Quran.31:33 "... nor let the Chief Deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah."
Quran 35:5 "O men! certainly the promise of Allah is true, Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah."

Allah in the Quran does not mind using His name as the One God, but He/Allah definitely abhors those who say he has a son, and those who say he is a Trinity sharing his powers with a "dead Jesus" and a "Holy Pontianak/Ghost".

Quran 5:72 and 5:73, (Proof that Jesus is not God and Allah is not a trinity.)

It is so sad that when we have rakyat who are struggling to put a roof over their heads, food on the table at every meal, education for our children, the rest of us are all so absorbed on who has the right to use a 5-letter word.

And if you folks want to be stubborn and continue to argue about this ... the Arabs coined this 5-letter word, shouldn't the argument be confined to its use in Arabian writing? After all, 'ABC' is definitely not the original language of Islam but that of another race / religion (Christian Romans?)

I'm glade that most of non Muslim know what "Allah" means and the meaning to us(the Muslim)
in the level of sensitivity and respect.

But from my experience i have excidently read a copy of bible in English for Malaysian edition
i found it while i was check into a hotel room in penang,place inside my drawer, the way that the author describe "Allah" is really unacceptable.
THEY USE ALLAH AS REFER TO GOD.

YES ALLAH IS THE ONLY GOD.
YES ALLAH IS THE CREATOR OF ALL.

NO. ALLAH DOESN'T ACCEPT OTHER THAN ISLAM

I do not wish to get into any form of confrontation with the use or non-usage of the word Allah.

I come from Johore and am very proud to be a Johorean. I have sung the State Anthem since I was a student age 6. I have sung it proudly and gladly. I have sung it waving state flags made by us students and waved it as our Sultan drove past - in the streets, in the school and in the padangs.

Allah peliharakan Sultan
.....Allah selamatkan Sultan.

I will continue to sing this anthem. In school most of us who grew up in the fifties and sixties used the world Allah very freely and spontaneously and nobody stopped us for we all knew we were referring to God, no matter what our particular religious denominations or affiliations may be.

The fundamental faith of any religion is the acceptance of all human beings are born equal, so cant we equally share a name? will sharing compromise’s a person’s faith?

finally, the definitive response to the wannabe mullahs and their patrons and supporters.

my opinion is that there always must be unity.

Forces that try to create dis-unity or segregation will eventually be seen as incomplete and thus not the whole thruth.

Firstly, why dont the religious head of every denomination of a religion to sit down and discuss and deliberate among themselves whether they all can agree and accept the idea or notion of only one Creator in the spiritual realm or space? Secondly, if all these heads are unable to come to a consensus that all living beings were created by a common Creator, Supreme Being or Almighty or Lord or God or whatever name it was given by its followers, then any disputes involving religious matters will not be resolve amicably or no solutions be able to remedy it anyway till doomsday. As each head of the religion are so egotic and so adamant that only their all powerful Supreme Being, Almighty or God or Allah is better than any other of its equivalent Supreme Being, Almighty, God or Allah from other religion denomination, the world will never be in peace and the human race are going to be self destructed if the humans continue to believe in these religious bigots.
