Surat terbuka kepada Najib Razak
Tiada maklum balas daripada Perdana Menteri berkenaan Program Reformasi Pilihan Raya Malaysia/Malaysia Electoral Reform Programme (MERP)
Pada 20 Dis 2012, Tindak Malaysia bersama-sama dengan 10 NGO yang lain telah melancarkan Program Reformasi Pilihan Raya Malaysia di Dewan Perhimpunan Cina Kuala Lumpur dan Selangor. Dokumen itu menyatakan apakah perubahan-perubahan yang perlu dilakukan di dalam sistem pilihan raya bagi mewujudkan ruang untuk ‘Pilihan Raya yang Bebas dan Adil’.
Ini adalah merujuk kepada janji Perdana Menteri semasa temu duganya dengan ntv7 pada 9 Apr 2012 bahawa beliau akan memastikan pilihan raya yang akan datang adalah bersih.
Satu salinan dokumen tersebut telah diemelkan ke Pejabat Perdana Menteri sementara satu lagi telah dihantar kepada pembantu peribadi Perdana Menteri, En. Wong Nai Chee dan satu salinan cetak telahpun disampaikan dengan tangan kepada Pejabat Perdana Menteri pada 27 Dis 2012.
Kami meminta jawapan dari Perdana Manteri sebelum atau pada 8 Jan 2013.
Selanjutnya, kami menghantar satu surat terbuka, bertarikh 2 Jan 2013, kepada Perdana Menteri Dato' Seri Najib Razak dan Pemimpin Pembangkang, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkenaan MERP. Di sini, kami memberikan timeline untuk pelaksanaan MERP sehingga 21 Apr 2013.
MERP dapat dilaksanakan jika adanya kegigihan politik dan keikhlasan daripada Perdana Menteri. Kami telahpun mengingatkan sekali lagi kepada Perdana Menteri supaya memberi jawapan sebelum atau pada 8 Jan 2013 dan kami akan menganggap jawapannya adalah "Tidak" jika Perdana Menteri terus mendiamkan diri.
Setakat ini, pihak Perdana Menteri hanya membisukan diri. Kami sebenarnya langsung tidak terkejut dengan reaksi ini kerana ianya sudah menjadi seperti perkara biasa untuk pihak pentadbiran Perdana Menteri berkelakuan sedemikian semenjak Perdana Menteri mengambil alih pucuk pimpinan.
Maka kami sekarang akan mengemukakan cadangan ini kepada rakyat Malaysia untuk pertimbangan mereka, dan juga untuk pertimbangan parti politik yang lain. Kami pasti Perdana Menteri akan mendapat maklum balas daripada mereka di pilihan raya yang akan datang.

Open letter to Najib Razak
Silence from the PM on the Malaysia Electoral Reform Programme (MERP)
On 20 Dec 2012, Tindak Malaysia together with 10 other NGOs launched the Malaysia Electoral Reform Programme (MERP) at the KLSCAH. That document represented what are the changes needed to the electoral system to create the environment for Free and Fair Elections. This was based on the Prime Minister’s promise during an ntv7 interview on 9 Apr 2012 that the coming elections will be kept clean.
A copy of that document was emailed to the Prime Minister’s Office, another sent to his PA, Mr. Wong Nai Chee and a hardcopy hand-delivered to the PMO on 27 Dec 2012. We asked for a response by 8 Jan 2013 from the Prime Minister.
Next we sent out an open letter, dated 2 Jan 2013, to the Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Najib Razak and the Opposition Leader, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim on the MERP. Here we showed a timeline for implementation by 21st Apr 2013. The MERP is doable given political will and sincerity on your part. We again reminded the Prime Minister to let us have his response by 8 Jan 2013 and have stated his silence will be taken as a “No”.
So far, we have been met with silence from your side. Frankly, we are not surprised as this is consistent with the behaviour of your administration since you took over the reins of the leadership.
We will now bring this proposal to the rakyat of Malaysia for their consideration, and to the other political parties as well. We assure you that you will hear their response in the coming general elections.

UMNO leaders are not intelegent enough ! Why ? They are not smart either. Why ?
I'm sure Rayat don't mind if they are corrupted, but humble. The problem is that they are corrupted, not humble but arrogant. This is called "bodoh sombom". They never learn a thing. Best chance to improve their images was during Abd Badawi's time where UMNO gained many votes (though some were fishy). They got carried away by their majority votes and thus missed the chance to better project themselves as humble leader publicly. Robinhood was a robber, but the poor liked him. There is a lesson to be learnt from this famous story, though, I know, some will not agreed with me. Rayat don't care where the money came from as long as they were helped when there was a need. Rayat dislikes them because they are corrupted, arrogant, and making threat every now and then. The worst is invoking religion, saying such thing as voting for opposition is "haram". Got such a thing in the religious book ? Voting for opposition is "haram" ?
